Spencer's Party

Spencer fortunately had his birthday party in a little more timely manner. We scheduled his for the afternoon following Ashley's (if we didn't pack it in it might never happen). Luckily for Spencer a friend kindly loaned us a camera so that we could get some photos. Spencer also wanted to have an iceblocking party. Paul helped out. Here are some pics:

My Canadian Daughter and My American Son

holding hands across the border
We like to go and watch the Fourth of July fireworks each year from Peace Arch Park. The park straddles the border between the US and Canada. Paul took this cute picture of Spencer standing in the States and Ashley standing in Canada. For the record, she is the only native Canadian in the family.

Off to Grandma's

Spencer got to go on his 10 year old trip to Grandma's. Can you see his little head sticking out of the cockpit window? He had a fabulous time

Spencer

Spencer is a real smarty pants and has a great sense of humor. He is even learning to recycle. I received a Christmas card in an envelope that had "Spencer" written on the outside. It was then crossed out and "Mom" was written over top. It was a card from Sister Whidden his hard working Primary chorister. What a kid!
