You can't start anywhere if you don't start somewhere

In the age of digital photographs, busy kids and endless housework and laundry, photos haven't been printed and scrapbooks haven't been brought up to date for at least five years. I have had spurts of creative energy within the last year when I have neglected all else (no cooking or cleaning or laundry) in the pursuit of scrapbooking. Alas, it is impossible to keep this up and all paper crafting now involves card making (yes one day the cards will actually be sent... maybe). I am sad about this because the kids LOVE the scrapbooks. They frequently come to me and say "did you know...?" and quote something they read or saw in the scrapbook. It's funny because they are telling me about what I have written.

During Sharon's latest visit, she mentioned that blogs can be printed up and bound in book form. Wow, this could be the answer? The problem is that after surfing around and finding some really beautiful blogs I got a little overwhelmed. If I was going to do it, I wanted it to be really nice. With school rapidly approaching, I realize that is not a practical attitude, so I will start today, right now. It's not perfect, but I've started... I'm a blogger now and I am proud!!
